>Roll Call – 2009

>I know that most people tend to browse blogs invisibly (including myself), it’s helpful to deliberately create an opportunity to try get more of a feel for why in the world people visit my blog. So, this is your opportunity to talk to me, instead of the other way around.

So, if you would be so kind as to take a bit of your valuable time, please post a comment with the answer to the following questions.

Name:

Age:

Profession:

Location:

How often do you visit this blog?

Why in the world do you even read this blog?

What one thing should I do less of on my blog?

What one thing should I do more of on my blog?

Any other comments?

I hope to hear from as many of you as possible. Thanks a bunch!

** UPDATE: This survey was lifted (almost verbatim) from the blog ericasp.com. I strongly recommend this blog; it is the perspective of an American Missionary in Amsterdam)

  5. >Thanks guys! I will be sure to take this into account in the future. Eric, I appreciate your input on copying/reposting. I cringe when I go through a period of posting others work. Generally, I try to either attribute or make clear that the words/videos are not mine. I see that I did not do so with this one, and I apologize (and have edited).

  6. >Oh, I wasn’t worried in the least that you used the same “roll call” concept that I use on my blog… I was just saying that I prefer to read thoughts from Wendy more than thoughts from someone else on the internet that Wendy copied and pasted. You know what I mean? To me, it’s kind of like the difference between an original person-to-person e-mail and a mass-mailing forward. Neither are bad per se, but the more personal touch is definitely more compelling…

  7. >Understood, Eric. Here’s to more original posts! :+)
