>Mommy Brain or CRS, You Decide

>Normally I don’t post about events as mundane as grocery shopping, however I guess there is a first time for everything. Before I begin though, you need to understand that for the last few weeks, I’ve been shopping at a store that, while not the most convenient location-wise provides free childcare in-store. For obvious reasons, this is a wonderful thing. If not for this service, I’d certainly prefer the store that is considerably closer to home… but I digress.

I dropped Big Brother off in the kid care area (which he loves) and continued with my shopping which was wonderfully uneventful. Once all of my selections were made, I paid, collected the tags that would let the folks outside know what bins were mine, and went to get the kiddo from the kid area.

Once we got ourselves loaded into the car and on our way, I didn’t realize that soemthing was terribly wrong. I didn’t actually realize that there were any problems until I arrived home and realized that I had no groceries to put away. It seems that I left them at the store. So, back to the store we went to pick them up, only to find out that about one-third of my order had been collected by someone else in error.

The store was very gracious about this and offered that I go home and unpack everything and they would deliver whatever was missing. Given that I’d already spent close to an hour in travel time to and from (and to and from) the store already, I was quick to accept.

Now, the question I pose to you is this: was this a case of “mommy brain” or pregnancy-induced CRS. I know what my opinion is…
